Alter and Hobby Japan's latest collaborative figure from the Hyakka Ryoran series is Matabei Goto! And for a girl who isn't wearing much clothing, this figure of her depicts her with dignity.
A lot of figures featuring the ladies of fan service heavy anime tend to have them in erotic or perverted poses, but Alter and Hobby Japan continues to make great looking and desirable figures that fans can proudly display without any shame. Matabei stands proud and tall while wielding her weapon and with a look of determination. The figure is 1/8 scale and stands at a very impressive 300 mm tall.

Matabei is scheduled to be released May 2011. I am continuously impressed by Alter and Hobby Japan whenever one of their Hyakka Ryoran figures come out. The quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail is amazing. This is a must buy for me.
